My wife, Julia, and I have known Joeline for many years. When we first met her, she was caring for her elderly neighbour, a role she carried out with dedication on a daily basis for many years.
When Julia was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2018, aged just 61, Joeline took a genuine and compassionate interest in her, supporting me in her care.
This remarkable woman later cared for both of us when I suffered a serious fall five years ago — even welcoming us into her own home for over a week during that difficult time.
She continued to look after Júlia whenever I attended carer meetings, becaming a constant and trusted companion to her.
Now that Julia is very unwell, Joeline still visits her regularly in hospital. At the same time, she continues to support me — now nearly 82 — with my own health, as well as personal and administrative matters.
None of us likes to admit we may need help as we grow older, but Joeline, through her company Senior Concierge, has been an absolute blessing to us. Her care, consistency, guidance, and advice have made an immeasurable difference in our lives.
